This top survived three days at the beach and water park with no problems and no burns! I actually used the thumb holes when playing in the water with the kids and it helped keep the sleeves down and not bulging in the water. Most of the time it held up well (except when I was in a tube in a wave pool, but real sea waves were fine). The shelf bra is ridiculous for a 38H bust, but I wore an old underwired bra with it and it was perfectly fine. I am very happy with this top and will probably buy another one. I usually have 1x-2x IRL and 2x was fine with me.
