The My Tascam DR-22WL portable Wi-Fi handheld recorder has a 1/8-inch stereo input. Most professional mixers output the left and right channels separately, often on a 1/4" jack. style. This adapter combines with a simple 1/8" TRS reversible extension cable (such as the Anker Premium 3.5mm Auxiliary Audio Cable (4ft/1.2m) AUX Cable for Headphones, iPod, iPhone, iPad, Home/Car Stereos and More (Black )) allows me to connect my audio recorder to the line out of soundbars in Churches, event halls and most other places so that I can record the same sound that is going through the speakers, except in purely digital form. The adapter itself feels premium. The plugs fit well and given its simplicity I'm not sure what exactly could have gone wrong. The sound quality also seems to be very good. Nothing to fault.
