Philmore Shielded Stereo Connector Connectors Review

I've read about all the horrible problems these adapters can cause so I bought one of 3 manufacturers and am hoping I'm out of luck. One of them turns out to be the opposite of the other, and I had a hard time trusting my results until I tested them on two verified devices. This is a pretty good cable at a good price, but is a bit finicky. Now I'm not sure if it was user error or something, but I've used it to output from the piano to regular headphones, earbuds, etc. Well it didn't work at all for the first two days or so.
