I rarely take the time to write reviews/usually get good Revain products. I would not recommend this carrier to anyone. I attached it securely to the bike, my 10 lb dog was in the basket with the drawstring tight. She jumped out of the basket, dangling, as expected, from the strap attached to her collar. Startled her and me to pieces. Also, it's not a one-stop shopping cart for everyone. I have a regular 15 speed bike. It was too wide to clip neatly to the handlebars without getting in the way of the brakes, and it hung too low to rest on the front brake, though I tightened it as tight as I could.
