I compared this wire to a lighting supplier's wire (volts) I had on hand. Dripstone's insulation is quite shiny, a bit stiff, and about 30% thinner. Both wires are 12AG and have 65 copper strands. Dripstone insulation is easier to remove (because it's thinner) but harder to break the conductors. This wire should be fine and remain flexible in the ground. Its smaller size makes it a bit easier to burrow. When connecting wires, be sure to fluff the strands before using the silicone nut. Helps carry electricity.
