The design of this cable looks great on the outside. However, I had problems with it on the first day. I mainly used it as an extension cable to connect my USB hub to my PC's USB-C port. I had a dock with two hard drives connected to a USB hub and everything looked fine with 1 or 2 drives in the dock. The PC was able to recognize the discs. However, the problem is an accidental disconnection from Windows 10. This happened to me when I tried to delete files from a drive, rename a file, copy files, etc. within minutes of Windows booting up. The drive disappeared from the Explorer and only reappeared after I restarted the system. I tested the dock with a separate USB port on the PC and the hard drive never went away, so the problem isn't with the dock. I then reconnected the dock to a USB hub and plugged the hub directly into the PC's USB-C port without an extension cord and it works fine too. With only 3 components (dock, USB hub, extension cable) and 2 of them didn't cause any problems, the problem must be with this cable. I do not recommend buying this.
