Mediocre electronics

I have had this 3.3ft cable for 11 months now. Looks neat. However, not a sure footing. Very sensitive to touch - the slightest movement of the laptop or this cable and the connection will be broken. Does this in all Macbook USB-C ports. Therefore, it is not suitable for external drives, displays or network adapters. Of my 4 USB-C ports, this is the only "sensitive". Junk Cables and Connections

The design of this cable looks great on the outside. However, I had problems with it on the first day. I mainly used it as an extension cable to connect my USB hub to my PC's USB-C port. I had a dock with two hard drives connected to a USB hub and everything looked fine with 1 or 2 drives in the dock. The PC was able to recognize the discs. While this cable allows you to stream videos and use it as an extension cable with your Nintendo Switch, it disables the use of dock USB ports as other users have suggested. This means that the AC adapter cannot be used or the Pro controller can be charged via the Switch dock. Not useful for USB-C hubs!

Although the cable is mechanically strong (the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1), it doesn't work with any of my USB-C hubs (two different brands)! This results in the message "The last USB device you connected to this computer is defective and is not recognized by Windows" when used with one of the USB-C hubs. Works with the GoPro External Mic Adapter but is VERY rigid

This cable successfully connects the GoPro External Mic Adapter to your GoPro HERO8 Black camera (unlike almost all other USB-C extension cables) . In fact, I was able to cascade two of these to achieve a 2m distance between the microphone adapter and the camera. This cable is not fully compatible with the Nintendo Switch Dock. I bought this cable because I have a switch in a case and needed a convenient way to connect it to the dock without having to take it out of the case every time.
