I bought these because the earrings I used to get my third piercing made my ears fester and itch terribly for the first 2 weeks. I replaced the originals with the ones I bought in surgical steel. And now the new piercings appear to be fully healed within 1 day of being placed! I've worn them for about 5 days, now it feels like I haven't even pierced my ears lately. They are made of real surgical steel and have beautiful colors.
