This fan is near silent. My HTPC with Ryzen 3 2200G is inaudible unless I put my ear to the case. This HTPC sits in my bedroom four feet from my bed and I sleep in total silence and could never hear it even when I tried. Maintains temperatures below 20s in standby mode and below 30s when watching movies on a 4K screen. I used the included low-noise adapter, which slows the RPMs down a bit, but still delivers excellent performance. No case fans or anything in my build, just this guy silently supporting my Ryzen. Easy In other words, if you need a silent HTPC cooler, this together with the silent adapter is perfect and should fit into almost any HTPC case. My Silverstone 6b Mini-ITX case has plenty of space, installation was easy, nothing out of the ordinary.
