We bought these braces for my daughter who is 10 years old and wears size 5/6 women's shoes. They fit perfectly. My daughter has to wear socks underneath or her feet get very sweaty and uncomfortable. She has weak ankles and ankles that grind or click when she walks. These ankle braces appear to prevent her ankles from cracking and hurting when she exercises a lot. She can wear them with shoes. I would recommend them.
