Hello, I'm speaking to older people like me who hear less than before. This soundbar is perfect, love it. I set it up myself in 10 minutes. I used the optical cable that came with the kit. 5 of the 10 minutes it took me to hook it up was wasted trying to insert the ends of the cable. I'll admit I was less familiar with all of this technology, but upon reflection I wondered if there were little plastic caps on the ends of the cable to protect the ends. Well, they really showed up and made the connection possible. I smile every time I look at my new soundbar. Thank you for the great product and smile.
