Review on 🌱 Sustainable and Environmentally-Friendly SOOQOO Biodegradable Toothbrushes by Nancy Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautifully crafted bamboo toothbrushes

The earth needs less plastic and more sustainable solutions. We try to do our best - I just can't stand the thought of putting so much plastic waste into the world that ends up in landfills, rivers, lakes and oceans. For parties we buy compostable wooden utensils and paper plates. We compost them right in our backyard with the Earth Machine Composter. The desire for a low-waste lifestyle is one of the reasons why I chose wooden toothbrushes a few years ago. we have dr Perfect bamboo with soft natural bristles (12) but my wife didn't like the flat handles. Since then, better quality bamboo toothbrushes have emerged and are now much cheaper as more companies enter the market. These SOOQOO bamboo toothbrushes are of a very high quality, with a nice smooth finish that rivals some of the durable bamboo chopsticks we own. . The round handles are very comfortable to use and the soft bristles are gentle on teeth and gums. As for colored pencils, I'm not sure about water-based color or biodegradability. The bristles are definitely not biodegradable. I love that they are color coded with matching bristles. I also like that they are competitively priced with plastic and even cheaper depending on the brand. However, the specified duration of 12 months is greatly overestimated. The American Dental Association recommends changing every 3 months. You'll probably get away with it every 6 months, but not a year.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Small problems
