The label on the package indicates they CANNOT be tumble dried. I refuse to wash my clothes in the washing machine and then fish out a pair of socks before throwing them in the dryer. The label also says to dry in the shade. I don't know about you, but I don't have a line to dry my clothes. They seem to be sensitive to heat. I drive in California and some days it can get pretty hot. Do I need to worry about them being outside in the heat while I'm driving? If it had been stated in the description on the website I would not have bought them. They are currently being returned for a refund. The last observation is that they are thin and light.
