Edit: Almost two years of use and the comb is still in perfect condition. No broken teeth or cracks. Original: For those reviewers who say their comb is falling apart, they most likely didn't follow the directions. Any comb will break if misused. This comb is so strong and well made that it's hard to imagine it breaking in half or parts falling off. I don't use hair products (the instructions say not to get chemicals, oils etc on the comb) and after use, if I've used conditioner in the shower, I rinse and dry the comb. Like any good cookware, they need to be cared for or they will break.
