works great! I love this thing, I use my laptop for work a lot and it has helped my neck a lot. This raises the screen almost to eye level. It holds my 15" (if I remember correctly) laptop securely. Small rubber feet on the bottom keep the stand from sliding. You can also close your laptop while it's on the stand. Those who need this feature. Also can the little clamps on the front that hold the bottom of the laptop sometimes chafe my wrists while typing but I can probably cover them with something to stop it it's not very strenuous overall I like it a lot and I can recommend it, especially for the price.
