Review on 🐠 PGFUNNY 25W Aquarium Heater, Smart Thermostat Fish Tank Heater for Betta, Slim Design Fits 3 to 5 Gallon Tanks, with Thermometer Strips by April Scott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly as advertised - fish and aquatic animals

Just arrived a few hours ago and installed it straight away. The TWO that my wife sold (after going back to buy another one after discovering the first one didn't have a thermostat) also didn't have a thermostat to regulate the heat and turn off the heat when they did was not needed. It was from a known network. with their"specialists". We came back and they looked at me like I had two heads. I am an electronics engineer, over 40 years old. Power is my specialty. It does what YOU WANT and NEED. The real name brand sold at the pet/fish store and here is not and they tell you to buy X watts xx watts depending on your tank size. They are designed to increase water temperature (per gallon/surface area/evaporation) by X degrees. So as your room temperature goes up, so does your water temperature, and a fixed wattage without thermostatic heating will only raise the water even more. If you don't see it, you have fried fish. at least overheated fish. It's best to have a heater that can raise the temperature of the tap water when you change it and turn it off and off when the water doesn't need to be heated. My wife's 3 gallon beta tank. Small form factor. The temperature bar is easy to read and matches the old thermometer we have in the water. This heater has a red indicator light to show that the heater is on. If the thermostat is not closed, the fish will indeed be fried, but you will have to feed it twice a day. Look at the temperature and the red indicator. enough time to determine if the heater is ok or not. On the beer tanks we've had in the past, the thermostat wasn't a point of failure, it was a heating element that wouldn't open.
