Review on Aidata LD007P Laptop Cooling Board by Gary Morris

Unique to computers and accessories

Can't believe no other laptop cooling pad compares to this one. At this point I've had it for a decade, through three different gaming laptops, and I'm even just looking at this page because after a mean search I think I'll get another one of these because finally USB because the fan is starting to wear out , and it won't hold up with electrical tape. I'm surprised no other manufacturer has even bothered to add a mouse pad to the side of the cooling pad. I saw one with a frigging phone holster! And I'm constantly being shown silly advertisements for the laptop cooling pad that comes with the mouse pad, it's not even a hard surface, it's a thin roll of neoprene. What good is that to me? I'm on the chair! I'm not trying to use the armrest for my mouse! No kidding, the mouse sidebar is the reason I own it and it has never let me down over the years. It is MUCH stronger than I think it is and it gets heavy use day in and day out when I play in my spare time. The only thing I would say is that the mousepad's nicely grooved surface sometimes just picks up a bit of lint and messes up my mouse work, but when I notice it, I scratch it with my thumbnail and we're good to go. The carpet fan itself isn't the most impressive, and sometimes you'll want to turn off the power, unplug, open it all the way and grab some compressed air and a piece of tissue paper. all of that, but it's not that much for something I use literally every day. It's a very quiet fan, almost always outperformed by my laptop fans. And it's easy to transport! A few times I've bothered to close the store, pack it up and take it somewhere, the mouse pad hides inside the closed pad and it even has a handy handle to just pick it up and go. I can hold it just as long as a laptop bag if for some reason it's not on my shoulder. Nice and light weight, won't weigh down your luggage or your legs. So again it's a weird niche product that I'm amazed no one has tried to make better, but maybe they realize that honestly they might not succeed.
