If there are indeed gauges showing the pressure applied when sanding, I've tried this during the day and I don't see any of them! So what use are they? Another publicity stunt. But don't worry, I've searched in the dark and they are there. Great if you're grinding at night. Also, please help me if I'm wrong? I've had this and a completely different brand and they both suffer from the same major problem. 1/4 sheet of sandpaper just about fits on the sander. I think I've misaligned a few millimeters, the paper is slipping off the machine to the right. Is it a problem for the manufacturer to build a base that fits 1/4 sheet or am I missing something? Playing around is not what I want. Pity! I spend more time gluing the paper than the sanding I'm working on. Can any manufacturer do this right?
