I have more microphones and recording equipment than I know how to handle. I needed a way to improve the recording quality on my iPhone and iPad as I use them several times a day to record audio and video. I was definitely unsure about this mic at first, especially given the price and the fact that it's so close to my device on the internal mic, but I use it literally every day and the recording quality is studio-like - no exaggeration. Many thanks to the seller 1/11/2019 UPDATE: Still using this mic every day. My personal assistant is by my side 7 days a week, 15-20 hours a day. She keeps the mic in her business bag and takes it back and forth 20-25 times a day for me to use with one or more of my iPhones and iPads. And either she or I plug and unplug the mic from the port on my device the same number of times. The mic still looks, works and is set up like new and every recording has that "full" and "limited" sound. Very impressed with this mic and equally grateful. Note: Another reviewer stated that there was no difference between the sound quality of this mic and his iPhone's internal mic - he ALSO said the mic "didn't work when he plugged it into his device". So what is it? It works out? Or is it just not working as expected? Sounds like a contradiction to me. If you, the reader of my review, are considering this mic for your own use, get it. I promise if you don't come across a broken one, you will be very satisfied. As I said, I literally use this mic every day for every audio and video recording I do with my iPhones and iPads.
