I bought this desk to use when I work at my partner's house with my laptop in bed. It's surprisingly thick and roomy - it fits my 15" laptop and has enough room for a small laptop. I appreciate the small slots for pens, phones and drinks. The drink opening is pretty shallow so I'm not sure whether i will use them to hold my drink if i use the table in bed the table is sturdy but be aware that it can move around a bit if you use it in bed (like all laptop tables) - probably not if you put it on the floor or one use a more stable surface. Overall I think it's really good value for money, love the small slots and perfect for using with laptops!
