The light is usable, the globe is fine.
We were studying at home and needed a globe. This one is small and the words are very difficult to read but they give you a magnifying glass. The problem is that the magnifying glass is actually useless, the "glass" is wavy and not that big. Get a good one if you use this to study. The included cable is long enough and there is a button to turn it on and off. This is just the end of the UBS, so you'll need a connector to plug it in. The button assembly fell apart the first time I used it, but I put it back together and taped it and it works. Not the best but gets the job done.
