Bought for my son's new M1 Air (A2337). The lid cannot be opened completely when the upper and lower parts of the housing are in place, the two parts rub against each other when opening. So far he's only using it with the top but it's definitely not what I paid for! If I had to guess, I'd say these cases are for earlier Airs and they only repackage them for the M1, although they don't actually fit.
