Review on Multicolor 8-Pack Kuretake Zig MS34008V Memory System Calligraphy Markers by Hannah Curi

In general, I really like these pens. The colors are beautiful and don't bleed across the pages of my moleskin notebook. It's very easy to create amazing calligraphy with them if you hold them correctly. The packaging says to store them horizontally to keep the ends evenly moist. Perhaps this explains why some reviewers have complained about the large or small ends of the pens drying out. Can you store them vertically? Speaking of packaging, that's why I'm not giving this five stars. As of 02/19/16, the packaging of the goods received is different than in the photo. The picture on the website says they are waterproof but the packaging I received does NOT say they are waterproof and in fact when I tested the pens they smeared a bit. They are mixed just like the package I received says. Water resistance isn't a big deal, although I do wonder how well they hold up to USPS processing. I'll go online to look for a waterproof spray.
