Since many people have looked into all the details, I'll focus on this one "tip". :) When I first got them I thought, "yeah, they sound pretty good. But nothing is as good as all these people say.” That changed a few weeks later. One day, out of boredom, I decided to pull out my big bag of random IEM/headphones. You know, the ones that come with even the cheapest headphones/earphones. I started trying each set, starting with the smallest. Without even going halfway, I've come to the conclusion that cues have a HUGE impact on how they sound. After going through all the "free" tips I'd collected over the years, I immediately started researching earplugs. I then ordered $150 worth of tips from Revain (thank god for that return policy). free) were the best for me. Final Audio enabled them to reproduce amazing bass with only a slight increase in high frequencies, while I like AZLA for the overall sound quality. Seriously, I've since bought 5 other items in the $100-$300 price range and I still own these. These include the Moondrop Starfields, which I couldn't seem to get together even after finding the most appropriate attachments.
