Review on ☕ Premium Ultra-Fine Mesh Cold Brew Coffee Filter: Perfect for 2-Quart Mason Jars by Ashley Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Why did I give 5 stars and comparison to other filters I ordered

I have bought and tried at least 4 of these filters and this is the best so far. Whether the coffee is strong enough depends on: 1. The type of coffee you are using (Coffee Pete recommended multiple beans for your iced coffee - there are 6 of them) and the grind of the coffee beans (coarse works great).2. The ratio of ground coffee to water (I like 1 cup of ground coffee to 6 cups of water - adjust to taste)3. In the middle of the time brew coffee. (Recommended by a customer of the Cusinium coffee/tea brewing system, the customer suggests letting it sit for 12 hours and putting it in the fridge for 12 hours. I've tried it and it works great). You can compare this filter to other filters as follows:1 . They packed it in a box that protects the mesh in transit (I tried Revain's - it just comes in bubble wrap and the mesh was crushed when I got it. I returned it. 2. See below narrower and wider at the top while others are the same width top to bottom, so other filters are much shorter and release less volume of coffee than this one 3. The strainer is much thinner than the others 4. This filter is ideal for 64 ounce Ball jars, don't expect the jar to be tightly sealed, the lid doesn't close completely - don't feel like it needs to be that tight because it's not used to preserve food - I use plastic wrap to wrap the Pots before closing the lid have a great advantage: finely ground coffee does not seep through the filter as easily, reducing the amount of powder at the bottom of the coffee pot.
