Exactly what I was hoping to find. Although the size around the motor and flywheel was 14.5 inches, that was too long and didn't take into account the elasticity of the belt. 13" band is spot on. This machine was manufactured in January 1894 and was originally powered by a foot pedal but now has a more modern electric motor fitted to the rear of the machine. It has been in my family for four generations and I have took it out of storage to make custom masks as I'm sure my great-grandmother did during the 1918-1920 pandemic.
