I use them as part of a modular peltier cooling system. They are extremely efficient and with good heatsinks keep the TEC1-12710 Pertier just a few degrees above ambient when running on 12V (about 86W at actual current ratings). Good quality. A well edited side to place against Peltier or CPU. Because they are aluminum, they are used with glycol coolant.
