2+ years of daily use and still like new. I have professional experience with Cherry switches and consider them the best. Anyhow, I went with a brown Cherry switch to keep noise to a minimum in exchange for less tactile feedback than the blue one. Maybe my next one will be louder and have even better tactile feedback - if that ever wears out. Pros: * The ping is similar to the old IBM Selectric and IBM PC keyboards (if you're old enough to remember them). . Good tactile feedback.* 2 USB ports (2.0) on keyboard.*Media keys if you lie.*Great keyboard layout.*USB cable to computer is stiff, with good strain relief. Don't worry about USP socket failure. * Spare parts available. NOT very good: * Ads (Numlock, Caps, Screen Lock) are only visible when looking straight ahead. Not normally visible.* The website contains sales information but no description of specific keys. (They're pretty straight forward.) I had a Rosewill mechanical keyboard and the USB connection to the keyboard failed. Conclusion: I will **never** be without a Das keyboard. I typed a lot on Selectrics and early (ie good) IBM PC keyboards. I believe that proper tactile feedback is essential for accurate and fast typing. This keyboard has it all.
