I'm a bit addicted to rope baskets. I have several rope baskets in every room of my house. Bought specifically for the guest bathroom. My kids were throwing clothes all over the floor and I wanted this to act like a little basket. I didn't want a big basket because I really don't want them to store clothes in that basket. I want them to leave all their clothes here at night and in the morning I add them to another laundry and start loading. With a family of 5, I have to do a load of laundry every day or I'll fall behind. Like most rope baskets, it absorbs moisture well, so be careful not to put anything wet in the basket as it will absorb water and dirt. For this reason I want the handles to be black. If you plan on moving the basket like I did, your hands will only get it dirty. The rope basket can be washed, but they're not as good as they come, so I'm doing this as a last resort. Also, the white rope is mostly new cotton, so it gets dirty easily and never comes off. So keep that in mind when deciding what to store in it. Overall, the basket is lightweight and easy to move. The rope handles are beautiful and durable for whatever you choose to store in them. The fun handle design really sets this basket apart from many others I have.
