It's best to walk in shoes that are wide and long
The wide sketches seem to have been made with a different last than the usual sizes, as the insole is actually wider, not just deeper. So if you need extra space, these shoes are for you. The width is very wide (more like extra wide) and my regular 8 1/2s were about a half inch longer. They fit like slippers (good soft insole) and with sports socks. I bought these as slippers to replace my Go Walk 3 and they fit about the same. I don't know where to go in terms of sizing when buying a pair for summer as I know their regular shoes are too tight for me. I like the soft insoles and their look.
