We've been using these for a few months now on our stove top in place of metal blades we were using. I wouldn't say they work better than the metal ones, but they're nearly as good, and just seem safer and less like to damage the stove top or hot pads or whatever else they might be around. Easy to change blades quickly and you get so many of them that you can change them out as regularly as you want to make sure you always have a nice flat blade to work with. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from these when I sort of impulse bought them, but they've been a pleasant surprise.
