Review on JackonLux 🔦 Rechargeable Hurricane Emergency Operated by Tara Perry

I was very excited about these bulbs. After waiting a few weeks longer than the original delivery date, they have arrived but are not working as advertised. Once fully charged they work like regular (but expensive) lightbulbs, they turn on when you touch the +/- parts on the base or when you use the blunt screw caps provided. However, I don't care about those features (I have flashlights / flashlights are way better than a 2-3 hour lightbulb, and I don't do any "tricks"). I was very interested in the emergency light function, which is said to have a battery backup function so that it can continue to work in the event of a power failure. But don't make my mistake and don't think they turn on during an accident. If you screw them into any type of lamp or fixture, they will ONLY work like regular lightbulbs, and depending on the fixture, they may turn back on after you want them off until they drain their batteries. They WILL NOT WORK if the bulb is screwed into any type of lamp/device if the light goes out no matter what position the light switch is in. Touch the base or use their cheap screw caps. No thanks, very disappointed, item returned.
