This toothbrush is fantastic. My dentist calls me an "aggressive cleaning lady" so I had a slight recessed gum where I start brushing my teeth. I've been using this for several weeks. The gums haven't grown back yet, but I've been watching very closely and it's not getting worse, although I seem to be brushing longer (it's much nicer without the spiky brush). Bonuses I wasn't expecting: 1) You don't need a lot of pasta. Slightly foamy and spreadable. 2) I can clean my tongue without gagging. So much clean mouth. 3) My teeth are much whiter! I would never have thought that with such a soft brush. Tip: Rinse from the sides by running your thumb over the top of the bristles to keep the toothpaste from pooling at the base as the bristles are dense.
