Works plug and play with Ubuntu 21.04 Linux. Doubled my internet speed.

This Wi-Fi card works great with the latest version of Ubuntu Linux (currently 21.04). No need to install drivers or anything, just plug in, boot up and it works. Also works on Windows 10 but requires additional configuration, surprisingly Linux turned out to be easier. Don't use the driver CD, it's very old, just search for "Intel AX210 driver" which can be found on Intel website. You install them and then restart your computer. You might have to connect and disconnect a few times before it works, but once it's connected you should be fine. I had a low speed on 2.4GHz but it works much better if you set the router to 5GHz. Was able to connect with WPA3. Basically, I have a 1GB internet connection, but I rarely see those speeds unless I'm connected to a router via ethernet. I get about 900 Mbps over cable. On my old USB wifi dongle I was getting around 150Mbps on a regular basis. I get about 300 Mbps on this card. So it basically doubled the Wi-Fi speed and reduced the latency a bit, so it's very nice. For example, when downloading games from Steam, I downloaded 26MB/s, now I have 59MB/s, so more than double. For the price, this is a monster upgrade. Unfortunately, it's still not as fast as wired, but I think it will always be that way. Still very happy with the purchase. Oddly, Wifi5 speeds are also improved and are basically the same as Wifi6. Even if you have an old router, this can still be useful. I didn't realize how much speed I was losing with the USB adapter. If you have space on your desktop PC, a PCIE card is definitely a lot better. Pretty cheap when you think about it. So yes, the product is great.

Pros
  • โœ…High Quality Heatsink: Our PCIe wireless network card uses a high quality heatsink, which can effectively dissipate the heat generated in the network card when the wireless network card is working, which can maintain the temperature and operation of the network card, and it can play a good protective role when running big games or ultra clear movies
