All the posts you may have read about amazing mids and beautiful highs are correct. These are amazingly detailed and tireless headphones. The bass is its only "weakness", as it's recessed and has less presence: this may not suit those used to Beats or Klipsch sound. However, the bass is rich in detail and very agile with very little bloom. Comfort is excellent and I haven't encountered any issues with the cord loop around my ears (and I wear glasses). I've found that silicone tips produce a cooler sound with a more developed midrange. I chose to use foam tips as they add a very subtle warmth to the sound with "rounder" bass without sacrificing the mid and high frequency detail. Here's the selection of music styles I've listened to: Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Beck, Gillian Welch, John Adams, Primal Scream, Robert Glasper, Wilco Highly recommended, especially if you prefer detail and timing over intuitive bass.
