The description says they are easy to assemble. I'm strong, I've packed a lot of stuff and I couldn't get these tie rods to attach them to the cribs. I was on a camping trip with a group and another man helped me, he agreed they were difficult to put together and his cribs were a lot easier to put together. You can't sleep right on top of cribs without feeling the bars, so you'll need a mat too. I emailed the manufacturer to see if they have any solutions. I wanted to do this before writing a bad review but they never replied to me.
