I ordered my usual size 8.5 although I can wear 9. I have big bones on both feet but these shoes were pretty soft around the edges so they were extremely comfortable. First of all, this shoe is well made and absolutely beautiful. At first they were tight because I was wearing thick athletic socks. I sprayed them with alcohol on the inside, then put on thin socks and they were in perfect condition. I took them for a test ride - a 45 minute walk/run in the park and on the sidewalk - and they were great straight away. Light and comfortable. I overpronate (feet curl inwards/knees tap) and they're great for correcting my gait and supporting my foot without being bulky or weird. Stability shoes are a must for me and they are excellent. I immediately ordered another pair in a different color.
