I am using this on a Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Canon EF lens. The image quality of the lens is excellent. I had two Fuji 100-400mm lenses and both were pretty good and the Sigma's image quality suits them. The Fringe car adapter just works. I don't notice any particular focus lag. Maybe a bit slower than Fuji's native lens, but not to the point where it bothers my birds in flight or when shooting from long distances. The fringer is well built, snaps in as it should, not too stiff, does what it's supposed to. supposed to do. Significant cost savings (Sigma + Fringer) compared to Fuji, plus the ability to use other Canon EF lenses on my Fuji. Fuji lenses are great. But the one with the Sigma 100-400mm seems like a very good alternative with significant savings.
