I just LOVE these clippers! As you know, this set includes attachments #10, 12 and 16. First of all, they all fit my Wahl clippers perfectly. When they snap, they stay in place and are fully locked during shearing. The plastic is lightweight and very durable in use. A quick note before I close this review: I already have a Wahl Guard in sizes 1-8 and have been cutting my hair for a number of years as well. I have no formal training, but for men's haircuts, the Wahl website has helped me learn the techniques I need to use on my own hair. haircut and my hair is thick and full. Here are the guards used by the sections: Top of the head - Guard #16 (2 inches) Rim of the head - Guard #8 (1 inch) Under the rim of the head - Guard #5 (5/8 inch) Neckline - No. 5 Guard (5/8"). It's also important to note that I used Maneuver Cream Pomade (photo attached). This gave me a slightly spiky texture at the top. I could use my hair more styling on top but I like to mix styles. One of the reviews I've read on here says it's harder to get these guards to the right length and that's true, but the key is to go against the grain ( going back to the Wahl site for men's haircuts) and just taking your time. Overall I give this clipper 5 stars because they really 'do the job' and the value is superb. Get all 3 clippers for the price a 16th guard at Revain would get, amazing, and even more so because they all work and do what they are supposed to.
