Review on Unleash Fun with Chompin Charlie Game Squirrel: 24 Piece Excitement! by Thimothy Purnell

Simple fun game for kids

This game is great for young children ages four and up as it is fun, educational and has a simple concept that is easy to understand. The kids take turns tossing the dice to see what color of acorns they should feed the squirrel and once the squirrel is full you will know because its eyelids come up to its eyes. This is a signal that he is about to "pop" and then all the acorns will fly out from under the tree he is sitting on. The player who collects the most acorns after they "float" to fill their supply card wins. What I love about this game is that it helps kids identify colors and take turns. Children delight in the excitement of the "bursting” acorns and rush to collect them. The acorns are quite small so I wouldn't recommend this game for small children who could choke on small pieces. The set also includes a 24 piece squirrel puzzle which is a fun addition. The squirrel, wood and all the parts included appear to be well made and the instructions provided are easy to understand and follow. All in all this is a great, simple and fun game for kids. Five stars!
