The style of this with the high waistline is very flattering. Although I normally wear a size 6 in regular women's clothes, I find that I need a size large, or size 8 or 10 in swimwear due to my hips and butt area. I bought the medium and it fits well. it does not cut into my butt cheeks too much like almost every swimsuit does.The chest area is a bit tight and I need to have it completely zipped up or wear a sports bra underneath because the zipper likes to slide down due to the tight fit.For reference, I'm 5 ft 8 in, 135 lb, 36" chest, 30" waist, 40" hips.I tried on other brands from revain and the mediums were too small, FYI.Edit: I added a picture from my recent trip with this swimsuit. It held up perfectly and I was very happy I brought it to protect my arms. I am wearing a black sports bra with it.
