Given the price, I can't be wrong. I took it to photograph our annual family in front of the Christmas tree. I really just wanted a tripod mount for my phone, and he had a tripod and remote for a few bucks more. The only thing I hate is that the swivel knob doesn't tighten the clamp for vertical stability. I may have to disassemble and rebuild it. The small remote control works great with the Galaxy S9 Plus. Wind. because it's so light, the tripod was moving at 5-8 mph during the hyperlapse, which I tried after getting it. That's not all that unusual, if I hadn't pushed it almost to its full height it probably wouldn't have been that bad. Payload. I wouldn't use this for anything heavier than a cell phone or action cam. by itself.
