There are some restrictions depending on your dog.

I have bought this cage twice now. First let me say that my dog is kennel trained and I have no problem in his metal kennel. She lies in her kennel all day by herself when I'm at home. When I leave and she is in her kennel she is usually asleep (I have a security camera so I can see). With that being said, she tore apart the first of these kennels I bought. The first time it went through a screen door - and that's a design flaw that I'd like the manufacturer to rectify. A canvas door with maybe a small mesh window would make this kennel much stronger. Then I repaired the door and turned it into a solid canvas. Next time she went through the barred window. My dog was 100 pounds at the time, so she made a hole and was able to throw up the rest. The second design flaw, in my opinion, is that the windows need to be a little smaller and maybe a little bigger. Her metal kennel is covered with a blanket so she is completely closed on all sides except for the door. She doesn't like going to the kennel unless it's covered. Covered, this is their hiding place. Not covered, it's a prison. Both times my dog misbehaved, they put her in a soft kennel and left her alone. Now that she's a few years older and a bit bigger, I've bought her a new, bigger one of these kennels. Compared to others on the market, this one really has the best design in my opinion. It is also very difficult to take a metal shack with you when traveling. All I know is that there are limits, this is mostly used when I'm taking her to work so she can lie down or when I'm locking her up at night when traveling.
