When I received these I couldn't believe how easy they sync to my wifi and phone and how great they are. This company has been making lighting fixtures for almost seven years and it shows. I've had other brands and they were much easier to set up. They are controlled from a remote control or a telephone. The remote works well but I like controlling it from my phone. I really enjoyed playing music from my Alexa Echo and using the music to sync lights. The lights themselves are not yet synced with Alexa. You can set the lights to look like a disco, or use softer brightness settings or softer colors to create a more romantic mood or holiday theme. You can turn on the light with a static effect or a strobe effect. You can also set them to blend through a color family like green, or you can blend between 2, 3, or 7 different colors. They were shipped quickly and arrived very well protected. It's a great idea to also get 4-pin L-shaped connectors so they can slide smoothly around the corners, although you could just glue them to the corners too. I will install them around the pool bar and have plans for more. They would be so cool in a teenage bedroom, bathroom, garage, family room or for TV backlighting, pictures, bookshelves.
