Although I only use colored thread occasionally, I bought this because I've been hand-dying a lot of fabrics lately, judging by B .by ice or low water immersion methods resulting in brightly colored and colorful fabrics. I decided to use yarn for a couple of curtains that I had hand dyed the fabric for and was able to pull a cone of thread from this kit and it was a near perfect match! It turned out beautifully, and turned out well even when I wasn't careful and sewed the wrong side of the cornice holder down. All in all a very nice set including colors that I will actually use.
