I had to buy a replacement in the form of 1 terabyte of the red series of the same company, I transferred the information without problems and sent the hard to the shelf, so to speak, to retire . Yesterday it suddenly caught fire to put and try Linux OS, but I didn’t want to put it on one disk with Windows, dough shish and mulberries, I remember the forgotten old man))) In general, when I formatted it from under Windows, the unstable sectors disappeared, but the unrecoverable sector errors remained (7). . ran the classic remap test and voila: there are NO reassignment of sectors and their errors! In the end, I ran it again only Advanced remap - again nothing critical and serious. On an 11-digit scale: Hdd Tem perature - value 7 , and power on time - value. 8 (such as the operating time approaches 20220), the rest of the indicators - almost all show the value. 11 except for two that have a value of 10! Agree, not the worst result :) Showed screenshots to a familiar programmer (he was surprised that disks of a much fresher release showed a much worse result). With a response time of 5 ms - 1000156 sectors or whatever they are, with a response 20 ms - 220857, 50 ms - TOTAL 2 SECTORS! Even my used earphone from 2022 showed several sectors with a response of 200ms during the test, and this is the WD Red series that is considered reliable. After the tests, I load the OS and CrystalDiskInfo again swears at bad sector errors (only there are already 5 of them and not 7), but I don’t pay attention to it anymore, because. I trust Victoria HDD more and a programmer friend of the same opinion :) In general, if it weren’t for this Linux, my hard would have been lying on the shelf and this review would not have happened. In any case, this hard deserves this flattering review))) I hope it will rewind as much .
