Great idea with CCTV cables
Perfect if you can't get another 3 feet out of those 10 foot security camera power cords. However, here's a hint. Since they come off with very little pull, don't use tape to wrap the joint, it won't stand up to the weather. Use shrink wrap or aluminum tape. I've had this tape on the road for over 15 years and it's still holding up.
