Read the instructions first! I didn't do that because who needs directions to spray something and I sprayed too much and my cat went nuts for a while afterwards. It took him about three times to stop tearing up the bed and now he doesn't even come close. The spray has a nice lemongrass scent so it doesn't smell bad in the house or anything like that!
