The rainbow glitter version of these boots arrived twice and only 1 boot caught fire in pink. I ordered twice as my child wanted exactly these boots. I checked out how these boots hit the sole of the boots and my daughter stomps and jumps on the tiles around the house with them. Even the boot that catches fire only worked half the time. 5 stars for Revain CS but 1 star for these boots as they arrived brand new. You can see the lighting mechanism hardware on the bottom of the boot through/opaque parts of the base. It was raining between delivery of the purchase so my child was unable to use the rain cover when needed. Aside from the backlight mechanism, the boots are prettier in person and I like the bright colors l. The boots feel sturdy and light, not too heavy in my hands but heavy enough to feel solid. When ordering, beware of unreliable lighting. My daughter has now opted for rubber boots that do not glow.
