Works great. The velcro design keeps them on your feet well. However, one day I had her hind legs too tight, so I figured they might fall off rather than be uncomfortable. It would be so great if there was a way to know how much tension to put on the dog when wrapping this sock. There are non-slip plastic pads on BOTH sides! Wow! Someone had common sense! Otherwise you are constantly readjusting the rubbing side day and night. There are four in a pack at an affordable price. My dog only needs one set in the front OR back to keep him from slipping and falling. She can still jump in bed and on the couch, but lately we've had slipping issues quite a bit. It seems ours age by slipping first and then slowly I hope. If she can't jump on her own (over 60lbs), I buy a crib short enough for her to get in or out. It's important to correct the slip because it's so easy for them to cross crack and strain the good leg. I also have a pair of sock stock socks to wear when I wash them. I'm not going to make them wear boot socks 24/7. I let her sleep in it because she's pacing so much. Then in the morning I put on cheap socks or nothing, depending on what I'm up to.
